Critical Race Theory and Racism of Knowledge

Critical Race Theory and RacismCritical race theory (CRT) (Frerichs et al. 2016) is a set of tenets focused on anti-racism, forms of knowledge generation, and the understanding of the link between racism and improvement against racism as a sensitive social factor. The researchers further argue that it is a strategy used by scholars to challenge and eliminate racism through radical change of the system. I am a victim of race due to my color. No one wants to associate with me, especially when seeking opportunities, but I become the prime suspect whenever a crime is committed. Racism has been a concern globally since the past and we are still suffering. There has been intervention and revolutionary campaign has been carried out with calls for action such as black lives matters. The approach was due to our public outcry since we blacks have been prevented from opportunities, to seeking services and being implicated as criminals even when innocent.When people do not get opportunities to white collar jobs, they resolve to crimes. People need to survive and they will get to committing robbery with violence and murders (Stuart 2022). Such social injustices lead to a community filled with violence. Moreover, judicial murder occur where blacks are gunned to death due to the thought that they are criminals whenever they are out at night (Stuart 2022). Some people end up serving jail sentences despite being innocent. Moreover, the jury in most courts comprises of whites and they do not rule in favor of blacks despite being innocent. They even give them heavy sentences that could have been reviewed and waivered. The oblivious behavior feels anger and grudges erupt due to these impunities. Reduced confidence and failure to unleash the full potential is hard (Stuart 2022). People become regressed economically and they live a poor quality life. Racism leads to some people not having access to better education, jobs and health leading to increased dependency level from the government (Stuart 2022).Much attention is needed in matters regarding racism as there is no equality being achieved universally. Every person has the right to equal treatment, and access to every opportunity available regardless of the race. Also, there is the need to reduce the rate of dependency on the government and therefore, people need to stop racism and provide opportunities equally to everyone. The CRT and the movements against racism will help people have access to their rights and restore a lot of crimes, as much as increasing the quality of life of those experiencing racism and make a better future (Meghji 2020).
